Second day of the EuroBasket2011

The second day of the tournament didn't bring any surprises because the favored teams all performed well and won. Spain defeated Portugal, with Pau Gasol scoring 20 points and the Spanish team seems to be able to live up to the hype. But we have to see how they perform when they have to play stronger teams in the next round. France, Germany and Serbia all defeated their opponents in the very strong group B. All quite convincing and with improvement to yesterday but especially Germany with its victory against Italy made a big step to the next round and maybe even further. Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points and Chris Kaman added 17 rebounds.Turkey and Greece also won today and stay undefeated so far.
